In 1996, the 99s hosted the
World Precision Flying Competition which took place in Ft Worth,
Texas. The Canadian Precision Flight Team consisted of 4 99s from
East Canada Section, and their CEO Deanna Brasseur.
In 1999 two 99s flew at the 13th
WPFC in New Zealand. Another apprenticed as an International Judge.
In 2000, 4 99s participated in
Sweden as part of the Canadian Team. Three are now International
Precision and Rally Flying Judges. The Team is now focusing on
promoting precision flying within Canada.
In the US, 99s fill organization and leadership roles in the
running of NIFA competitions with flight schools.
