Our Objective: To promote and to communicate air education initiatives by and for all members.

How the Competition Works:

The Award shall be presented to the winning chapter at the East Canada Section Spring meeting in the calendar year following each contest.

The annual winning chapter will be designated by the highest total of tally points submitted by the deadline, detailing the previous competition period.  Any adjudication of "other" categories submitted in the strict purview of the Section Aerospace Education Award Coordinator.

Each Chapter's Coordinator shall forward but one tally to the Section Aerospace Education Award Coordinator.  The competition period extends from each January 1st to December 31st.  The reporting deadline is the following March 31st.

Each 99 may periodically report updates to their Chapter Air Education Coordinator via the Aerospace Education Award post cards which have been distributed to each Chapter Air Education Coordinator.  Each Chapter Coordinator is encouraged to promote up-to-date reporting to her as the year's activities progress.   These post cards are only meant as a helpful tool to aid the Coordinator in her global tracking (and annual reporting) of members activities and in transposing the post card data onto her official tally sheet.

The Section Coordinator shall prepare a report for each Annual Spring Meeting and is responsible for reporting any changes in the programme to the general membership.

Both, the Section and Chapter Aerospace Education Award Coordinators, are responsible for the dissemination, promotion and collection of this programme to and with all members.

The winning Chapter is presented at the next spring's Section meeting.  The award consists of a framed original work of art with the winning Chapter inscribed therein.  The intrinsic mentoring and enrichment reward eclipse any numeric point aggregate.

Official tally sheet and interim reporting post card examples are available online.
